Grief and Bereavement Counselling
Loss is a natural part of life. Coping with feelings of grief that come with loss is slow, hard work. Most people feel strengthened, encouraged and supported when they learn about grief, understand how it affects them, and learn ways to help themselves through the grief experience.

Nature Walks and Coffee Shops
A lot of times, people will feel uncomfortable in an office or a group discussing their feelings and situations. This can hinder healing from grief. We offer instead, counselling session nature walks, or in a coffee shop for a less structured, more personal approach to helping you heal. This coincides with our companioning approach to grief counselling. Contact us if this is something that interests you.
Workshops and Retreats
We frequently offer workshops using art therapy and other forms of holistic healing as well as day and weekend retreats in nature where healing can take place using various forms of connection with the world around us and with others. Follow our Facebook page for dates and times.

Here at Hope Harbour Healing we use Dr. Alan Wolfelt's companioning approach to grieving. This is a way to support someone who is grieving by being present and listening to them. It's based on the idea that the bereaved person is the expert on their own experience.
